DISARMING THE DEVIL
You are under attack from your enemy, the devil, who strategically targets you. I Peter 5:8 says, “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith.” 2 Corinthians 10:4 says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses."
Does your spiritual warfare make a difference against the attacks of Satan and his demonic forces?
Look at the prayer of David in Psalm 58:6-7: “Break off their fangs, O God! Smash the jaws of these lions, O God. May they disappear like water in a thirsty ground. Make their weapons useless in their hands.”
Armor up! Go on the defensive with the Shield of Faith and on the offensive with the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). The Scriptures say your prayers can make Satan’s weapons useless in his hands. The fangs of the roaring lion can be broken off. But you must declare it. You must stand firm. You must armor up. Have you put on the "full armor" today? If not, why not?
"The Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who is in the world" (I John 4:4, NLT).
