I LOVE THE RAIN

You are going to hear this theme from me over and over from me because I have learned to love the rain. The rain symbolizes the blessings of God upon my life. It symbolizes that God is watering the seeds He has planted within my heart. It symbolizes that God is answering my prayers.

When it rains I don’t go inside. I go outside. I get up from my warm and dry indoor seat and go outside (on my covered porch) with my cup of coffee. I crank up the old song “It’s Beginning to Rain” by the Gaither Vocal Band and I lift my hands toward the heavens and say, “Bring it on! Let it rain!” What a time of worshipping “the King who reigns (rains).”

I also love the song, “Seed of Faith” by Charity Gayle. I wish I was named after her but she was born long after me. I almost always play these two songs on my playlist every time it rains. If you begin to do so it might just water those fruits of the spirit that God wants to grow in your plowed-up heart!
