THAT ARMOR IS HEAVY

A friend sent me a message that said, “When you get on the scales each morning remind yourself that you have on the full armor of God. That stuff is heavy.”

That made me laugh. But I do put on the Full Armor of God every morning. It’s one of the things that has made a difference in my life. When I wasn’t doing it, I had consistent defeats. Now that I am doing it I have consistent victories.

Google it. Gotquestions.org is a good place to start. Generally speaking, I trust that site. Don’t just name the piece of the armor. Study it and learn what each piece does and what each piece means.

God has promised you victory in every area, but you need to follow His instructions and He tells you to armor up. Every one of your victories will come after a hard-fought battle. As my former pastor used to say, “Satan isn’t about to let you run touchdowns for Jesus all day long without putting up his best defense.”
