THE POWER OF VERBALIZING TRUTH
Your real competition isn't between you and anybody else. It's between you and that little voice inside of you. What defeats you is that voice that tells you to quit and that it isn't worth it. It's the voice that tells you that the kind of success others have isn't for ordinary people like you. It's the voice that tells you that you are too insignificant to make a difference.
You will win the war when you stand up to that little voice and begin to verbalize the truth of Scripture which is, "I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Repeat that until it becomes part of your default thinking.
I don't know if you fully comprehend the great power of verbalization. Verbalizing a lie about your inability and insignificance isn't humility. It is a tool utilized by Satan to defeat you and keep you from being who God created you to be. It is a tool to keep you in bondage.
A lie that is consistently verbalized has just as much power as the truth. The beautiful thing about repeating Scripture is that you are not only harnessing the power of verbalization but what you are verbalizing is not just psychological mumbo-jumbo. It is gospel truth. If verbalizing a lie can make you act in a negative way, can you fathom the power of verbalizing the truth?
Be careful what you say out loud and put out into the airwaves. You are claiming defeat by doing that in the same way that verbalizing Scripture claims the promises of God. Satan has
lied to you for too long that you don't have what it takes to gain spiritual victory or make a difference. Christ plus anybody is enough. That's the truth.
