HOW HEAVY IS YOUR BURDEN?

Are you carrying a heavy burden? Why? You don’t have to. Psalm 55:22 says, “Give your burden to the LORD, and He will take care of You.”

Maybe you think your burden is too heavy for Him. The prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 40:15b, “He picks up the whole earth as though it were a grain of sand.” I’m pretty sure He can handle it.

So, let me ask you again. Why are you carrying it yourself? He literally says, in red letters, “Come to me all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

The God who holds the whole world in His hands is the same God who will take care of everything that concerns you. He has asked you to give it to Him.

Adrian Rogers said, “God WILL put on us more than WE can bear, but not more than HE can bear." Adrian Rogers If you think you do not have the strength to go on, you don't. If you think you cannot take any more, you can't. It you think it is more than you can handle, it is.

If God didn't allow us to have more than we could bear we would never have to rely on Him. BUT... in HIS strength and with HIS grace we are "more than conquerors."
