THE IMPLICATIONS OF THIS ARE STAGGERING

"The LORD of Heaven's Armies is here among us; The God of Israel is our fortress" (Psalm 46:7 and again in Psalm 46:11, NLT).

What would you do, what would you ask for if you knew that God, the LORD of all of the angels of Heaven's Armies, was standing right in front of you? Right now! What would you do if you knew that the God of Israel is also your God and that He is your fortress? THAT God is the One YOU can run into and be safe.

Wrap your mind around this. Right this second, you and I are sitting in the very presence of God. If that doesn't fill you with awe, I'm not certain what would. And it is even more profound than that. This God, the God of Heaven's Armies, is not only in front of you, He is inside of you. He has chosen your body to be the temple in which He dwells. The Apostle Paul says in I Corinthians 6:19, "Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you?"

I don't care who you are, or how insignificant you think you may be, can you grasp a hold of the fact that God lives in you? Let me say that again, God lives in you!

What could you do, who could you be, what difference could it make if God Himself came to live inside of you? He did! He is! This Easter season, He is not only alive, He is alive inside of YOUR body. No wonder the Scripture says He is a very present help in time of trouble. Very present indeed! He is your very breath, your life, your strength. It is completely impossible to be alone. You may be single, but how can you ever be "a party of one" when God is living inside of you? Every step you take, every task you do is done with the Holy Spirit infusing and occupying every part of everything you are.

If that doesn't change what you do and who you are, I don't know what else to say.
