THE RECIPE FOR BURN OUT

The Executive Digest said, “The trouble with success is that the formula is the same as the one for a nervous breakdown.”

That's kind of funny and kind of not! You better make sure you are not working and giving in your own strength. You must be plugged into "The Source" (God Himself) so that when you give, all you are doing is giving out of the excess and overflowing out of the abundance. You must be constantly replenished by God in order to be able to pour yourself into the lives of others and into the tasks you are performing.

The ONLY way to "serve expecting nothing in return" is to have an unlimited resource from which you are drawing. To use an earthly illustration, I am more than willing to let you eat off of my plate if we are dining at a place that has an unlimited buffet.
